Jody Sparks discovered she liked writing in high school, when she was the only one excited about the five-paragraph essay. Now she writes contemporary YA novels and works full time, managing the editorial staff at a digital marketing start-up in Indianapolis. She also loves reading, watching movies with her husband and two daughters, and playing Scrabble.
