Amalia Hoffman

Bio:

Amalia is the writer and illustrator of The Klezmer Bunch and Purim Goodies. She also illustrated Friday Night with the Pope by Jacques Shore.
She received the SCBWI 2005 award for illustration in the category of Fantasy.
She tells her stories with the aids of props, puppets, costumes and music.
She was the finalist in SCBWI storytelling competition.
Amalia exhibited her artworks in galleries and museums in new york city, Bronx Museum, Hudson Museum and The Staten Island Museum. She also created innovative window displays for some of New York city's leading stores.
Her art is included in the permanent collections of the New York City Public Library and the senate offices in Washington, DC.
Amalia holds a Masters degree in art and art education from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts,with honor from Pratt Institute.
