Bio:

Tina Fakhrid-Deen is a high school teacher, freelance writer, and community activist. She founded the Chicago chapter of COLAGE and was its volunteer coordinator for seven years. Tina has presented for organizations such as PFLAG, LadyFest, Family Week, COLAGE and many more. She has been honored as one of Windy City Times Top 30 Under 30 LGBTQ Activists, profiled in the Chicago Tribune and the National Gay and Lesbian Taskforce’s Family Policy Manual.
