Bio:

I live on an island in Puget Sound, Washington, where I am an artist and writer, and a sometimes architect. I live here with my husband, two children, seven chickens, four cats, a corgi and a goldfish. I draw most of my inspiration from my family and our menagerie, as well as from vivid memories of my own childhood. I love books of all kinds, and especially those that are illustrated.
