Barb Rosenstock

Bio:

Barb Rosenstock often pretends to live in the past, although she’s thankful for indoor plumbing, the Internet and microwave popcorn. She resides outside Chicago with her husband, sons and two big poodles, which keep her sane (or insane) depending on the day. Barb loves true stories best and enjoys sharing her passion for writing at school visits. Her first book Fearless: the story of racing legend Louise Smith (Dutton 2010) received a starred review from Publisher’s Weekly, was listed in "Children's Books 2010: 100 Titles for Reading & Sharing" from the New York Public Library and named to the ALA Amelia Bloomer Project Book list.

Barb writes children's picture books with a focus on creative nonfiction. She has three upcoming books, this year's new release is: The Littlest Mountain, illustrated by Melanie Hall, KarBen Publishing, March 1, 2011
