Heather Montgomery

Bio:

Heather Montgomery writes nature and science articles and books for children. She has served the Southern Breeze region since 2007 in multiple roles including organizing outings for nature writers, coordinating critique groups, and Assistant Regional Advisor. Heather is published in Highlights for Children, Science World, and Know: The Science Magazine for Curious Kids among other magazines. Her nine books include: THE CASE OF THE MISSING ARCTIC FOX AND OTHER ANIMAL MYSTERIES FOR YOU TO SOLVE, WHY DO MY TEETH FALL OUT? and WILD ABOUT SNAKES: RATTLESNAKES. Heather has a B.S. in Biology and a M.S. in Environmental Education. She lives in northern Alabama with her husband, her dog, her cat and loads of wildlife.
