Bio:

I am a children's writer and Elementary teacher. My first picture book, The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School, will hit the shelves July 2011. It is the story of a freshy baked gingerbread man who is on the chase instead of the run. His quest? To find the children who made him in a humorous romp of adventure through a school.
It was inspired by an interactive Gingerbread Man unit that is widely used in the early grades where classes chase their own freshly baked GB man through the school.
I am currently working on other picture books, as well as a middle grade adventure/mystery.
