Bio:

A graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy, Jennifer Swanson’s lifelong interest in books led her to become a children’s author. With her M.S Ed in K-8 science, Jennifer has teamed her love of writing with her passion for science and is now the author of 7 non-fiction children's books released in 2011 from Capstone Press & The Child's World. One of the books with The Child's World, How Hybrid Cars Work, received a starred review with Booklist.

Jennifer is a graduate of three courses from the Institute of Children’s Literature and an active member of SCBWI. She is a critique group leader in Jacksonville and is employed as a science instructor for Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth. Jennifer is recently a member of The Mixed Up Files of Middle Grade Authors Blog.
