Bio:

Victoria A. Selvaggio has welcomed the many challenges in her life. Her accomplishments include, earning her Real Estate License at the age of eighteen, which eventually led her on the path for starting her own business, “Selvaggio Cleaning and Maid Service” at the age of twenty-one. Her greatest accomplishment, however, when asked, is her family. As she says, “Having a strong, structured family is the most challenging, while it is also the most rewarding job I have ever attempted. In our family, there is never a dull moment!” She has been married to her husband, Vincent, for twenty-one years. They have two children, Anthony and Dominic. Victoria A. Selvaggio, has been creating stories all of her life and believes her vivid imagination came from her upbringing. As a child she made her own books out of construction paper and string. And remebers pecking away at the typewriter with one finger. The library was also a huge influence and became a weekly event. Presently, it is still a huge influence and weekly event. In 2008, Victoria A. Selvaggio was the Northern Ohio SCBWI Assistant Volunteer Coordinator and the Ohio Listserve Moderator. In 2009, she held the position of Assistant Regional Advisor and the Ohio Listserve Moderator for the Northern Ohio SCBWI. In 2010, she will be stepping into the Regional Advisor position for the Northern Ohio SCBWI while continuing to maintain the Ohio Listserve. Besides writing and drawing, Victoria A. Selvaggio loves to garden and paint. She is also an animal lover and has dreams of owning her own “mini” farm someday.
