Bio:

Carl Angel grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is an artist and graphic designer whose work is exhibited throughout the Bay Area and Hawaii. Angel is the illustrator of numerous books, including Willie Wins, Lakas and the Manilatown Fish, and most recently, Sky High: The True Story of Maggie Gee. His art is also included in the anthologies Honoring Our Ancestors and On Our Block. He lives with his wife and son in San Leandro, California.
