Bio:

I live in beautiful Nuremberg, Germany, with my two amazing teenage daughters.
I'm originally from Arkansas (USA), where I got an undergraduate degree in English literature and an M.Ed. in English and German. For the last twenty years, I have be working as a professional translator and technical editor here in Germany.

I few years ago I decided to start writing fiction, and since then have been juggling my job and family commitments while working toward becoming the best writer I can be. Currently, my interest lies mainly in the area of fiction for children and teenagers. I have been a member of the SCBWI for several years, and attended the Bologna Children's Book Fair and SCBWI Conference in 2008 and 2010.
