Bio:

Katherine is an Australian children's writer and illustrator whose first picture book, Squish Rabbit, was named a CBC Children's Choice book for 2012. It was also shortlisted for the 2012 Crichton Award and was named a Notable Book in the Early Childhood category of the CBCA Book of the Year Awards.

Her second book, Brave Squish Rabbit, was released in the US and Australia in 2012. She also writes novels for young people, has had a number of short stories published in magazines and anthologies, and in 2010 won a Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship for her writing.
