Bio:

Rob Owen was born in the then Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, in 1945.
Having been a most time farmer, a part time soldier of necessity, a sometime contract pilot, owning an engineering company in Johannesburg, he feels he has an abundant and varied source from which to draw inspiration.
He has always been a closet illustrator, and wannabe story writer.
He started illustrating professionally in 2004, and has written and illustrated 18 short 'flying' stories that were published by two competing magazines. He has otherwise illustrated, or contributed to the illustration of more than 200 books, mostly educational, for a number of leading publishers.
