Bio:

Susan spent my childhood in South Texas, about ten miles from the U.S.-Mexican border. As a child she spent the summers in Mexico with her grandparents and extended family. During these vacations, she frequently created mysteries that her siblings and cousins could solve. These mysteries were her first writings.

Susan attended and graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Business Administration. In May 2005, she relocated to Columbus, Ohio and tutored for the Columbus Reads program in Columbus, Ohio and read picture books to at-risk kindergarten students.

From 2009-2011, Susan was regional advisor of the Central Ohio chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and enjoyed planning events for her local chapter.

She has been published in the Columbus Dispatch, www.suspensemagazine.com and smories.com

Her first novel, Unraveled, was released by Evernight Teen in Feb. 2013. It is a young adult mystery.
