Bio:

Welcome! I'm an author from northern Indiana with a love for words, children, and outdoors. You can find my work in magazines such as Scholastic Instructor, Back Home, and Humpty Dumpty. I have also written children's crafts for various publications.

In 2006 I sold a picture book, Mouse's Best Gift, to the city of Columbus, Indiana. The picture book adorned the store windows of downtown during the holiday season. My current middle grade novel (still a work-in-progress!) won a Midwest Writer's Fellowship in 2008.

I graduated from Indiana University and work as a reading intervention teacher at a local elementary school.
