Bio:
Ally Howard is a children’s author who, for the last six years, has loved weaving dreams and adventures onto blank pages.
Although her genre of choice is adventure/mystery or humour series for 8-14 year olds, her five page non-fiction article on spider anti-venom featured in the February 2008 edition of Touchdown, The School Magazine.
When not working on her own stories, she dedicates her time to the CYA Conference where she has been a key member of the organisational committee for the last three years. She is also a member of the Queensland writer’s centre and many other writers groups around the world.
On weekends you can usually find her abseiling down cliff faces, teaching forty children how to tie knots in the Scout den, or chasing her darling husband, three gorgeous children, nine chickens, two dogs and a plethora of cane toads around the backyard in Brisbane, Australia.
One thing guaranteed to brighten Ally's day even more is someone returning her smile and cheery greeting.
