Bio:

I love to write. It consumes my life. The characters come alive in my head as I'm creating a story, letting me see bits about them I didn't while doing the outline or character profiles. I can see their passions and set them on paper. But it's not just writing the story that gives me pleasure, it's editing it to find the little things I didn't know the first, second, of fiftieth time I looked at it.

I live in Northwest Georgia, in a town rich with history, and while I love researching and writing about the past, the present as it applies to this area consumes me. Seeing teens growing up in a rural area, connected electronically with the outside world but still innocent in many ways, gives me many inspirations for my stories. My youngest child, a teen himself, keeps me on my toes with school activities and his musical interests but nothing inspires me more than the questions he poses to me hourly.
