Bio:

Rachel Hamby began a love of writing when her 5th grade teacher let her write about any kooky thing that popped into her head, including a cheese wedge with super powers. Back then, Rachel dreamed of being a circus performer, marine biologist, AVON lady or galactic princess. (She still thinks she’d be pretty good at that last one.) After college and a few years in the travel industry, Rachel found she still loved writing stories about the kooky things that popped into her head. That’s when she decided to become a children’s writer. Rachel lives in Spokane Washington with her husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs.
