Bio:

I've mowed lawns for a living, studied martial arts, lived in Switzerland, Ukraine, and Trinidad, gone hang gliding, eaten armadillo and opossum, and been bitten by a vampire bat. That eclectic aproach to life spills into my writing as I keep producing nontraditional picture books.

On the more practical side, I have written assessment materials for the past fifteen years. I have a Ph.D. in biology, which is making it really hard to bend the rules in the YA fantasy I'm writing. I love writing anything!
