Sharon started her life in a suburb of London. Through a variety of twists and turns she ended up in the United States. Life in the States was no easier for her family than it was in England. Books were her escape; she spent most Saturday mornings at the library in the small town she moved to in rural Iowa. Fate sent her family in search of greener pastures in Arkansas. There books continued to be her friends. With much struggling, she put herself through college and met the love of her life. Sharon became a teacher in 1988 and had the chance to share her love for books with third and fourth grade children in Arkansas and Missouri for 17 years. After receiving the SEAM award for her building, Sharon began to ponder on the idea of becoming a writer. It would be a new and exciting way to bring an escape to children in need of one. At the end of the 2005 school year, Sharon began her journey as a writer...
