Bio:

Currently working as an adjunct professor with Austin's St. Edwards' University, Debbie has been a teacher, a school administrator, an educational consultant, a curriculum designer, and a writing workshop instructor with Badgerdog Literary Publishing. One of her most interesting adventures in teaching was with PBS's Barney kids in a one-room off-set Montessori classroom. Deb's earned an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Art in Writing for Children and Young Adults, hosts a popular blog called Simple Saturday, and is a proud contributor of ReaderKidZ, a website committed to fostering a love of reading for kids ages K-5. She has published a series of early readers with New Zealand's Gilt Edge Publishers.
