Bio:

Born in Minneapolis, raised in Berkeley, CA. Goal at 6 years: to read every book that had ever been written. Realized this was not going to be possible, even with the study of Greek, Latin and French: at 10 years. Childhood baseball team: SF Giants. Grew up living between two women painters so had "artist" as fall back profession when the writing thing didn't immediately pan out. Am now pursuing writing. Still believe in the power of the visual image, also in the power of words.
Education: The Evergreen State College. Yes, it's true, I am a Renaissance woman and a Geoduck.
