Bio:

Angela was born in Mexico city, grew in the great state of Texas and now resides in California. As a child, she loved reading books and making a mess creating pictures. She is delighted to still be doing both.

Her first children's book, Ava Tree and The Wishes Three, by Jeanne Betancourt, was published in 2009. Her first picture Let Me Help! by Alma Flor Ada will go on sale this April. She also has two upcoming titles with Holiday House and Abrams for this year.

Currently, she is teaching at the Academy of Art University and working on a few picture books.
