Bio:

Kelsi Turner Tjernagel is fascinated by brave people: people who do their own thing, make deliberate choices, and create beautiful things whether it be a family, a piece of art or a book. She likes to study people’s lives and choices and see how it all comes together.

She shares these remarkable stories in order to add something lovely to the world, one story at a time.

She graduated from the University of Iowa with a master’s degree in journalism. She has worked as a rhetoric instructor, a web editor and a freelance writer for various publications. She currently writes non-fiction books for children. Kelsi is in the midst of writing a picture book biography that celebrates an ordinary person making remarkable choices.
