Bio:

Elena Jacob is one half of a mother-daughter dynamic duo. Her mother, Prisca Crawford, is a little bit country, and Elena is a little bit rock and roll. Actually, that's not true (though Elena would like to think it is sometimes).

Together, they write all manner of stories, typically for middle grade or young adult, with sporadic bursts of picture book and early chapter reader books.

Elena is currently living in (with no plans yet of leaving) Las Vegas, squeezing writing in between all those pesky non-writing obligations, like eating, sleeping, and interacting with other human beings. She spends most of her time writing stories (some for publication, others for her blog, www.ravenhartassociates.com), sipping tea and listening to dramatic orchestral movie soundtracks.
