Bio:

Donald Samson writes for both the preteen and the young adult. His books are popular with their parents as well! His books have garnered multiple awards. The Dragon, the Blade and the Thread was a finalist for the Colorado Book Award.
He spent two decades in the classroom teaching children in the elementary and middle school grades. He is grateful for all the years he was able to be engaged in meaningful activities with young people.
He devotes his time now to writing and speaking in schools. He enjoys giving to children insight how the path of an author is very similar to their own journey as emerging writers. So many children fantasize about one day becoming a published author, and he finds it important to show them that this is an attainable dream.
