Bio:

Maureen Lynas is a writer of funny stuff for young kids from picture books to middle grade. Her book To Destiny or Death! won the 2012 Undiscovered Voices competition, the SCBWI BI 's showcase of unpublished authors and illustrators.

Maureen is the Network Coordinator for SCBWI British Isles and the Local Network Coordinator for the north east group.

She blogs on Notes from the Slushpile http://notesfromtheslushpile.blogspot.co.uk/

And writes funny poetry on http://www.thefuneverse.com/ with a group of SCBWI BI poets, supported by SCBWI illustrators.
