Bio:

Lorna Schultz Nicholson has written over 20 books, including middle grade fiction, children's picture books and non-fiction hockey books. Her fiction title Roughing was shortlisted for the Golden Eagle Award and her fiction title Too Many Men was shortlisted for the Diamond Willow Award. Her non-fiction title Fighting for Gold has been nominated for the 2011-2012 Red Cedar Award. All of her Lorimer Sports books have been chosen as A Best Books for Kids and Teens/Our Choice Selection. Home Ice, an 2010 Olympic hockey book was on the Globe and Mail Bestselling List for many weeks and reached the #2 spot for non-fiction in March, 2010.
In the spring of 2012, Lorna Schultz Nicholson is launching her Young Adult Podium Sports Academy Series. The first two books, due out in March, are Rookie and Vegas Tryout.
