Bio:

I am a native Oregonian. I primarily write picture books and the occasional poem. My career has always involved working with children and families. I started out as a teacher of emotionally disturbed children before becoming a school counselor and then school administrator. I live in McMinnville, Oregon with my husband and our fox terrier Jiggs. My first published book is 'Bedtime In The Meadow' (tiger tales, 2013) The second book 'Owlet Falls Asleep' (also, tiger tales) will be released in 2014. A third Christmas book will be release from Sleeping Bear Press also in 2014.
