Amanda Litz

Bio:

Amanda Litz lives in Cedar Springs, MI with her husband and four children. In 2009, she returned home to her beloved state of Michigan after living in California, Texas, and Ohio. Amanda left Michigan after graduating from East Kentwood when she enlisted in the USAF as a linguist. During her time away, she also graduated from Wright State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and International Studies focusing on research and intelligence analysis, began her chosen career in writing stories for children, joined the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and achieved her greatest accomplishment in becoming a mother. Since returning home Amanda has established her publishing company, Traveler’s Trunk Publishing, and released her first book, Pirate’s Treasure. In 2011 she published an early reader series, Sam and Pam Can and You Can Too! There are three books in this series: We Can Help Our Mom, We Can Ride Our Bikes, and We Can Count. 2012 saw the release of her first picture book, The Great Gumshoe: The Case of the Missing Bear.
