Bio:

Aimee has loved words all her life.

As a child, Aimee read voraciously. She created a makeshift desk from an overturned laundry basket, designed curriculum, and taught lessons to her imaginary pupils. Then she completed and corrected their homework! Several years later, Aimee earned a real desk at a high school where she taught English, Music, and Special Education.

Now, as a freelance writer and editor, she enjoys the challenge of creating well-crafted messages for a variety of audiences. She has edited material for all ages and enjoyes writing engaging, nurturing resources for children and those who love them.

Aimee is delighted that her first picture book, Little Grey, will be published by Random House Books for Young Readers, with Laura J. Bryant illustrating. Aimee is represented by Jill Corcoran of the Herman Agency.
