Bio:

My name is Julie Hedlund, and while I've been writing professionally throughout my entire career (in the fields of politics, banking, finance and e-commerce), I am just getting started in the field of children's book writing. My inspiration is my lifelong desire to write creatively coupled with the daily antics of my two young children who give me endless story ideas. My primary interest right now is picture books. I have two completed manuscripts that I am in the process of submitting and several others in the works.

In my "spare" time I enjoy playing with my family, reading, running, hiking, yoga, skiing, traveling, watching college football, acting on compulsive urges to organize and decorate my home and frantically trying to bring myself into the 21st century by joining all of these social networking sites.
