Bio:

Alexis York Lumbard lives in the Boston area with her three children and husband. With a B.A. in Religious Studies from George Washington University, it is her sincere hope to bring the wisdom and beauty of the world’s religions and cultures to the eager and gifted minds of young children. Her debut picture book, The Conference of the Birds (Wisdom Tales Press September 2012), with illustrations by Demi, has received excellent reviews in Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Midwest Book Review, and Religion News Service. She has three other titles forthcoming with Wisdom Tales Press, Angels, Everyone Prays and Hallelujah. She also has an upcoming book app entitled, "The Story of Muhammad."
