Bio:

I read YA and children’s literature sometimes to escape, sometimes to help interpret reality. I write for pretty much the same reasons. Like many Portlanders, I hike, bathe, sleep and eat with book in hand. My limited concept of home decorating involves stacks of books- in corners, on tables, where the TV used to be. I blog about kid lit for Reading Local: Portland and on my blog Euphoria: That Kick I Get from Kidlit. Happy to have served as a round II middle grade fiction judge for the 2010 CYBILS.
