Bio:

Emel ALP SARI was born in 1979 in Hanover, Germany. She graduated with a BA in Graphic Design from Dokuz Eylul University in 2004.She has been continuing to MA at D.E.U. Fine Arts Faculty, Graphic Design Department.She has been working as a freelance illustrator since 2002 and worked in Istanbul between 2004 and 2008. She has been illustrating children’s books in Izmir since 2009. She prefers to use digital colouring, ecoline, gouache and coloured pencil techniques for her illustrations.
She has illustrated many stories and textbooks for preschoolers, juniors and teenagers. Among the titles she has illustrated are:
