Bio:
My stories are snacks for little souls. Giving power and choice to children, by taking big ideas and condensing them down to bite size treats.
The beauty of a children’s picture book is that it is read over and over by both child and parent. Imagine if you, as a child, had simple and easy insight into human nature and grew and developed who you were with this knowing. Rather than working as an adult to undo scripts that limit your vast potential. Imagine a generation approaching the world from the beginning in a loving and healing space. A simple life changing concept can imprint into a beautiful little psyche and be supported by a loving adult. Not surprising, adults love my stories as much as children. There was a bit of surprise when the short and simple books Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson, MD and FISH! philosophy by John Christensen raced through the business world. One of the reasons for their success is that we as a society are so over stimulated, so barraged with information that we find respite in simplicity. People can easily swallow a simple powerful concept and are quicker to infuse it into their life. They feel successful and powerful, rather than overwhelmed and uncertain, as can be the case with thick books with step-by-step instructions on how to change their lives.
My stories trust you to hold your wisdom, your truth, to create something so much bigger than if you followed instructions laboriously spell out for you. There of course is a place for these amazing books, but to a generation of ADD, ADHD, Crystal and Indigo Children, these are like the typewriters, rotary phones and conventional ovens of wisdom.
I hope you will consider my stories along the vein of personal development and spirituality wrapped with entertaining and lovable characters. I truly believe that my books will become part of adult and children’s bookshelves and lives.
Much love,
