Bio:

I hold Journalism degree from Oklahoma State University and have worked as an independent writer since 2005. Since then, I've been published in Oklahoma Living Magazine, Old Schoolhouse Magazine and iPhone Life magazine as well as in several other smaller trade magazines. I've self-published three educational products and market them through my Web sites and social media. I also blog and write reviews on books, iPhone apps, and computer technology.

I joined SCBWI because I want to expand my writing into other areas including children's fiction and nonfiction. Since joining SCBWI, I've met so many wonderful mentors, including my critique group: Nelda, Linda and Sandy. With their help, I've completed a picture book manuscript that is making the rounds with editors.

I have also started a chapter book - so far I've written it both as fiction and nonfiction. Who knows how this one will end up! But keep writing I will.

My other major writing goal is to write a novel for women - something with mystery, romance and adventure! That's my writing bucket list!
