Bio:

Amy Russell grew up the oldest daughter in a military family, survived adolescence, and graduated with an English degree from a small university in the geographical center of Texas. She taught high school and middle school English before becoming a reading specialist. Her writing has changed somewhat since the shameless Nancy Drew rip-offs she wrote back in sixth grade. These days, she loves writing young adult fiction with strong female protagonists who don’t even know how great they are. She lives with her husband and two miniature schnauzers in Austin, Texas and tries hard not to let her reality show TV schedule interfere with her writing.
