Bio:

Born and educated in Germany, I live with my husband in the United States. I have a Bachelor's degree and continued my education at Connecticut College and Rhode Island School of Design.

I joined art associations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut, winning several awards for my work in clay, sculpture, watercolor and oil paintings, as well as etchings charcoal and monoprints.

I opened my own pottery studio in Rhode Island (1987-1997) and taught workshops. Additionally, I traveled often to my old homeland, attending seminars and lectures on Art and Art History.

After the birth of my grandchildren I started to write and illustrate children's books.

I wrote the books in both the English and German language. The books were published in Germany. My first book titled "ABC", words in alphabetical order; my second book titled "WALDY" is a story book with an emphasis on arithmetic skills.

The books are now available at the Barnes & Noble NOOK book store on line. The WALDY books are available in the English, German and French language.
