Bio:

Lou Sears is a Reading Specialist and novice writer. She has written several stories to use with her students. While serving as a Literacy Coach, she wrote several stories for teachers to use in the classroom as well.

Lou is a member the International Reading Association (IRA) at the Local Council, State, and International levels. She served as President of Missouri IRA and the 2003 Conference Chair. Lou also served as State Coordinator for Missouri IRA. She was on the Fall 2009 IRA Regional Conference Planning Committee in Branson, MO.

Lou has taught Master's level courses at Webster University and Literacy Courses in the Reading Master's Program at Avila University.
