Bio:

For several years my writing partner and I wrote children's musicals and produced them at St Andrew's Episcopal School. When we quit writing the musicals, I missed the creative outlet.
Last summer I attended a Highlights Foundation Writer's Workshop in Chautauqua, New York. It was inspiring, and I am excited to be writing for chilren again.
I live in Austin with my super supportive husband, Bob. I am fortunate to be near all three of our grown children. I sold a rhyming story to Highlights for Children Magazine, and I have been writing for hire for Augsburg Publishing, both in their Sunday School materials department and their daily devotional book. I am once again working on children's musicals as well. I love the diversity of genres.
I love dancing, and I think of writing as choreography. If the story itself is the music, the placement, rhythm and life of the words is the choreography.
I am looking forward to interaction with other chilren's writers in Austin.
