Bio:

I have a PhD in English from the University of South Florida. I've recently moved from Florida to Montana. To earn a living and find inspiration, I teach writing at the college level. I've taught at USF, New College of Florida, and now Rocky Mountain College.

My children's book publications are primarily in nonfiction although I'm working on several picture books. For the grown-up crowd, I write poetry and short fiction.

When I'm not working at my desk, you'll probably find me at the barn.
