Anna Raff

Bio:

Anna Raff is an award-winning illustrator based in New York City. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Print, Graphic Design USA, and Kiwi Magazine, among others; on TV on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," and MTV's "Woodie Awards"; and online at ThinkFaest, Pikaland, Illustration Friday, and Subtraction.com. In 2010, she created Ornithoblogical, a blog of bird-related imagery which was selected by Blogger as a "Blog of Note."

Currently, she is illustrating a collection of poems by the U.S. Children's Poet Laureate, J. Patrick Lewis, to be published by Candlewick in 2013, and a picture book to be published by Readers to Eaters in 2012.

Anna has an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, a BA from Connecticut College, and over 20 years of experience in children's publishing.
