Bio:

I am a half-time elementary teacher-librarian by day and a hard-working writer by night (and weekends, and summers, and holidays, and some very early mornings).
Chugging along at what I hope is a wise but youthful 32 years old, I am happily married to the world's best high school English teacher. We live with our two daughters (4 and 1) in Cashmere, Washington, a charming little mountain town on the banks of the Wenatchee River. The number of books in our home happily outnumbers the number of people in our town...how many New York writers can say that?
I love music, working with kids, teaching, cooking, traveling and telling stories...and I do as much of all of them as I can fit in!
