Bio:

Lisa Green is not a demon, ghost, vampire, fairy or shape-shifter*. She has, however, enjoyed reading and writing about them since the age of 7.

In her “normal” life, she earned a degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, which helps her understand how humans think. She was a professional actress and has played such varied roles as Shakespeare’s Juliet and the quirky town gossip, Gabby Labouche. Lately, Lisa has been portraying the role of “Mom” to her two human children, which has given her lots of experience dealing with those under the age of 18.

When her husband the rocket scientist pointed out her tendency to pick out books intended for young adults and children, much to her credit, he was not devoured. Instead, Lisa realized her calling and began writing for a younger audience. Soon, she joined SCBWI and began publishing poems in magazines such as Stories for Children and Bumples. She is represented by the AMAZING Rubin Pfeffer of East West Literary.
