Bio:

Tess Krüs, was trained as a graphic designer at the Media & Design Academie in Genk, Belgium. She started her career in Great Britain at Retail Environments as a retail designer. Besides designing concepts, making floor plans her work also consisted of making artist impressions for retail interiors. In the following years she worked as a retail designer in the Netherlands.

In October 2000 she started as a freelancer in retail and graphic design. Among her clients is Instore Kids Corners. A company specialized in the design and production of kids play areas. Tess Krüs not only developed themes for them but also hand painted some of the custom made cabinets and wall paintings.

Ten years on Tess Krüs visualizes concepts, designs, stories, identities. Whether through illustrations, the development of a game, the development of a piece of furniture or an entire store interior, Tess Krüs finds a way to communicate visually what her client is trying to say. Her designs are clear, logical and contextual. Her work is not limited to a particular style or medium but responds to the situation, resulting in surprising visual translations.
