Bio:

I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but most of my 'growing up' took place in Orlando, Florida, where I wallowed in all things Disney. I've traveled a lot with my family which has led to an obsession with history and an interest in other cultures throughout the ages. I have always loved children's literature and film, especially fantasy and historical fiction, and now I'm finally free to make art and books that will make others as happy as they have made me.

I earned a dual degree BA from the University of Florida in English and visual art studies. I earned my master's degree in illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where I now live and work.

Clients include Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, Small Beer Press, TOCCA Beauty, AAA Traveler magazine, SpotCo, and MTV Books.

I get a lot of inquiries from people who want me to illustrate their projects. I'd like to note here that I'm only interested in serious inquiries for paid projects.
