Ruth is a writer and former newspaper journalist who has received several awards for investigate reporing, humorous column writing, medical writing and feature writing. She lives in a cottage at the water's edge in the woods of coastal Maine with her husband, their nine dogs and two cats.
She has completed several children's picture books and is currently working on a humorous novel, "Pink Cadillac," a memoir about impulsively moving to Mexico, "Mexico Sight Unseen," and several children's books; "The Adventures of Newbie Two Shoes," "A Bear in My Hair" and "Mystery Mouse. Her children's book of fairy rhymes, "Fairy Friends," is scheduled to be released this summer.
She is a member of SCBWI, the Maine Writer's Alliance and the Deer Isle Writer's Group. Her short story, "Gun To Her Head," was recently published in Long Story Short.
