Tim Miller graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration and then again with a Master's Degree in Art Education. Inspired by the innovative voices of children's book authors Satoshi Kitamura, James Marshall, Sergio Ruzzier, Maurice Sendak, Uri Shulevitz, and William Steig, Tim's writing and illustrations reflect a heartfelt and distinctly personal touch. With a quirky sense of humor his stories are playful and visually rich, his characters whimsical and endearing. Tim currently lives in Queens, New York and is represented by Ann Tanenbaum of Tanenbaum International Publishing Services. And when Tim isn't working on his next children's book he can be found at the Queens Museum of Art providing students from across the city the opportunity to explore their creative horizons.
