Bio:

I am an award-winning artist in California’s San Joaquin Valley. I have studied and exhibited for many years. Since 1988, I have worked as a freelance graphic artist. Over the past seven years, I taught art and multiple subjects in elementary and middle school. Most recently, I have become an advocate for maintaining and integrating arts in the elementary curriculum through a program I designed called Academic Art. In addition, I have been expanding my painting and illustration portfolio for the children's market. I recently self-published a book titled "Over in the Valley", based on the traditional children's song, but focusing on animals that live in the San Joaquin Valley.
